This form must be used to request participation on one of the Team Nevada Dual teams. Team Nevada competes at the Western States Turf Wars June 19-21, 2022 (generally in Pocatello but this year in Farmington UTAH). We have 2 HS teams in both BOYS and GIRLS, a 14U BOYS team, a 12U TEAM and a 14U GIRLS team if we have enough interest. ALL DUALS ARE IN FREESTYLE AND GRECO-ROMAN.
The teams themselves will be created by the Dual team creation committee which is made up of the Dual team coaches and Nevada State Officers. When filling out this registration you will be asked what weights you are willing to be on the dual team. Please realize that selecting only one weigh may limit your ability to participate, so select up to three weights that you could wrestle. We may ask for wrestle-offs, we may not. We will build the team in the best interest of the team not the individual.
You will be asked during this process about accomplishments, please keep these relevant to top level Folkstyle and the Olympic Styles. Finishes at events, your state finish, Head to Head wins over in state athletes. As a potential participant on a NEVADA dual team, you are required to be registered with Team Nevada and have the 2022 Base Team Gear Package. You will also be expected to participate as frequently as possible in the Team Nevada Practice sessions that will be set up in your area. However, these practices do not replace your club team practices or any other system you may have for improvement over the summer.
